What holders receive
Users who link an X account inside PayBox receive a dedicated wallet on Solana and EVM chains. The handle becomes the identifier. Anyone can then route crypto to that handle through Grok. The feature removes the need to copy long addresses when sharing payment details.
How setup works
Download the PayBox app. Connect the X account inside the app. The same connection can be made through the web app settings page. Once complete the wallet address is generated and bound to the handle. PayBox describes this as a way to share a simple X handle instead of a full wallet string.
Security steps in place
PayBox runs as a non-custodial wallet built for AI agents. Wallets are created with MoonX MPC so the private key stays inside a secure enclave and never leaves the device. Operations that cross set thresholds or touch sensitive actions stop for a passkey approval. Every action is logged as an audit event. Any connected agent client can be revoked at any time if needed.
Sending process
After the wallet is active, senders enter the X handle in Grok. The system resolves it to the correct address on the supported chains. No extra address lookup is required from the sender side.
Daily use for holders
Holders keep control of the wallet while the handle serves as the public label. The setup stays inside the PayBox app or web settings so users manage connections without leaving the product. Revocation and audit logs give visibility into any agent activity tied to the wallet.
Product scope
PayBox functions as a non-custodial wallet focused on AI agent interactions. The X handle connection extends that design to simpler transfers. The Oct. 7, 2026 go-live date marks when the handle-based sending path became active for users.
The flow centers on three steps: connect the account, receive the bound wallet, and accept sends routed through the handle. Security controls remain active throughout.
