How can holders move stablecoin balances from a hardware-linked app into a regular bank without added layers?
Tangem said on Oct. 13, 2026 that USDC held in Tangem Pay can now be paid out as US dollars to a US bank account. NFA.
The feature lets users send funds to their own account, someone else’s account, or a business account. Each transfer uses either ACH or FedWire rails. Confirmation happens with a simple tap of the Tangem hardware card.
What holders receive
Holders gain a withdrawal option inside the app that turns USDC on supported networks into dollars at a US bank. The receiving bank must sit in the United States. The recipient address can come from any country. Availability appears in the app based on the country where the Tangem Pay account was verified.
Supported networks
The payouts work with USDC on Polygon, Base, and Arbitrum. Users first select Withdraw, then choose bank transfer. They enter the amount and recipient details before review and send. The process stays inside the same app that holds the Tangem Wallet.
Separate accounts
The Tangem Wallet remains non-custodial. Tangem Pay functions as a separate payment account within the same interface. Holders can also move USDC or USDT from Tangem Pay back to the Tangem Wallet if needed.
Steps in the app
The help center outlines the flow. Open Withdraw. Pick bank transfer. Enter amount and recipient information. Review the details. Send with the card tap. This sequence gives holders control over each payout without leaving the product.
Practical reach
Users decide ACH or FedWire on a per-payout basis. The option to send to a business account expands use cases beyond personal transfers. The same verified account can handle multiple recipient types as long as the bank sits inside the United States.
The announcement came directly from Tangem on X. The help center pages list the exact steps and bank requirements. Both sources confirm the feature went live on Oct. 13, 2026.
Holders now see a clear path from their Pay balance to a US bank account. The card tap adds a hardware layer to each confirmation. Networks stay limited to the three named chains. The option shows only where the account verification country supports it.
This setup keeps the non-custodial wallet untouched while adding a payment rail. Recipients outside the United States can still receive funds as long as the bank itself operates inside the country. The process stays tied to the verified account country for availability.
Tangem Pay therefore delivers a direct dollar deposit path from selected USDC holdings. The card-based confirmation and choice of rails remain the core elements holders use each time.
